Book Reflections
These book reflections often begin with a question, a moment of discomfort, or a spark of wonder. They have helped me explore how I think about parenting, relational teaching, progressive pedagogy, nature and place, aesthetic environments, and the teacher’s inner life.
Somewhere in the middle, dissonance often arises—ideas that don’t fit easily, that ask something more of us. Rather than book reviews, these are my personal reflections or essays that invite questions slower reading, deeper noticing, and a clearer sense of what we’re practicing and why. I hope this list may be of use to you in exploring your own inner world and thinking about parenting, teaching and the world of early childhood.
On My Bookshelf to Write About

I'm drawn to this book for its exploration of how Freire’s ideas on oppression, power, and dialogue intersect with early childhood education today.
